The Happy Hour - August 30 2025

Today, Saturday 30 August 2025, we are happy to host the Rotary Club of South Ocean. Representing RCSO will be President RaMonne D. Gardiner and Immediate Past President Dava Bullard who will highlight initiatives the club leads and supports, making a positive impact on the community. One of these signature projects is the upcoming Care for the Caregivers Seminar, a joint programme with the Bahamas Alzheimers Association, which is scheduled for Saturday 6 September 2025, starting at 8am.

Joining us virtually will be representatives of Bahamas Alzheimer’s Association (BAA). President Wendyi Poitier will talk to us about the highly anticipated annual Seminar as well as other events scheduled for the month of September, which is Alzheimer’s Awareness Month.

The Care for the Caregivers Seminar will feature an energizing Zumba sessions led by Coach Myra Farquharson of Moves with Myra, Insightful discussions with mental health and legal experts, a Photo Booth as well as breakfast and snacks.
