The Happy Hour - September 13 2025

Today, Saturday 13 September 2025, we are happy to host the Pilot Club Of Nassau. Representing the Pilots will be President Debbie Mott-Strachan and Fundraising Coordinator Terah Sweeting who will speaking on all things Pilot.

Pilot International was chartered on October 18, 1921 in Macon, Georgia, U.S.A. by Elizabeth Leonard and forty local businesswomen. The name “Pilot” was inspired by the mighty riverboat pilots of that day who represented leadership and guidance. The Bahamas District of Pilot International was officially formed in 2004.

Did You Know?

The current Pilot International President is Bahamian Nickola “Nicki” Dawkins. Nicki was invited to join Pilot twenty-two years ago and has served in the Pilot Club of Nassau as Treasurer, Fundraising Coordinator, Vice President, President Elect, President and Parliamentarian. She then went on to serve as the Bahamas District Fundraising Coordinator, Governor Elect and Governor before serving as Membership Coordinator at the International level. At International, Nicki has served as Pilot International Director, Treasurer, Vice President, President Elect and is now serving as the President.
