Today, we spoke with local representatives of Zonta International, President Michelle Forbes and Advocacy Chair Detra Bethel of the Zonta Club of Nassau, ahead of the 16 Days of Activism to End Gender-Based Violence (25 November – 10 December), which is a part of the Zonta Says NO to Violence Against Women campaign.
There are several supportive activities happening including poster and TikTok competitions as well as joint events with the youth through the Golden Z Club at the University of The Bahamas.
