He writes and performs poetry and prose celebrating blackness and Caribbean life; edits everything from books to essays to press releases; acts in stage plays, television shows, and films; enjoys public speaking; produces podcasts; audio-engineers; and is presently creating two television shows that showcase the depth, beauty, and storytelling prowess of The Bahamas.

As a diasporic Bahamian living in Toronto, Denardo proudly preserves The Bahamas’ culture through storytelling. In his quest to find his calling, he has served as a Foreign Service Officer at the Bahamian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a Priority Manager in the Office of the Prime Minister of The Bahamas, an Editor-in-Chief, a Research Assistant, and currently a Policy Analyst in the Tourism & Culture Division of the Government of Ontario.
