The Happy Hour - July 5 2025

Saturday 5 July 2025, we will be hosting Ms. Kashannise Hanna of K’s Heart for Kids for the upcoming Winning IRL (In Real Life) Youth Empowerment Conference, scheduled for Saturday 26 July 2025 at St. Agnes Anglican Church.

Passionate, transformative, empowering, kindhearted and dedicated are just a few words to describe Kashannise Hanna. These qualities have played a significant role in allowing her to successfully contribute to improving the lives of others throughout the community.

Saturday 5 July 2025, we will be hosting Ms. Mattea Edgecombe, Ms. Khadeshia Burrows and Ms. Dawn Curry, three dedicated educators with over 10 years of combined experience in teaching and hospitality, who will be facilitating Youth Can Cook Too.

Youth Can Cook Too! is a fun, hands-on culinary summer camp launched in the summer of 2023 at C.V. Bethel Senior High School to teach kids how to cook and give them a skill they'll use for life. Designed for ages 10 to 16, the camp goes beyond recipes, campers learn kitchen safety, build confidence, and discover the joy of making nutritious meals from scratch.
